What is Holistic Pathways?

Holistic Pathways  is a place of coaching and caring that focuses on engaging and developing the whole person. We see each person as multi leveled. We embrace the physical, emotional, mental and spiritual. We discover how our energy and the energy of those around us, effects us on a daily basis. It  is the belief in the concept that the human being is multi-dimensional. We all have conscious and unconscious aspects, rational and irrational aspects. We are a bodymind. Not just intellect, but emotion, instinct, intuition, as well.

What is the difference between coaching and counseling?

Counseling is often times conducted for the use of revisiting one’s past and finding healing from his or her wounds. The goal of counseling is for clients to recover from their past wounds and move towards a lifestyle of healing, finding freedom from their pain.

Coaching is a helpful method that looks toward the future. Coaching is for people who desire to see improvement and beneficial change in their lives. Rather than healing from the past, coaching looks forward and asks the question, “How can we improve your lifestyle and meet your goals?”

What does a session look like?

Each session is tailor made to focus on your personal goals and utilizes accountability and motivation. Most sessions are for 60 minutes and it is recommend that we meet 2 times a month. Most programs utilize a three month goal time frame, with a revisiting of the goal(s) after that time. Your first session will be for 90 minutes and will consists of gathering information, goal setting and forming a plan of action.

How much does a session cost?

In office pre-paid sessions are $40. You save $10 off the normal cost by just prepaying for each session. There are packages available as well.

Are the sessions covered by insurance?

No. We hope in the future insurance companies will see the value in coaching as much as we and our clients do.

Can my partner come with me if we are working towards the same goals?

Yes! If you both are actively working towards the same goals, then coming as a couple can benefit you both.
